Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Chris Wright; founder of Element Refrigeration. I am a certified and licensed Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Journeyman Mechanic with the Interprovincial Red Seal, and National Construction Safety Officer.

 

Refrigeration is my heritage, as the grandson of Lloyd P. Elfner founder of Chinook Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Ltd. in 1966, I grew up in the industry. My official career was launched in 1998, and for the last 19 years I have been working with clients to ensure their equipment runs at its peak performance.  As a technician I look at each project as a challenge to be solved, trouble-shooting, and repairing to ensure maximum equipment uptime and prevent further failure.

I started Element because I saw an opportunity in the industry, for three improvements to the service and maintenance experience for clients.

 

• We talk like you do – being a skilled mechanic is not enough, it is important that we communicate to you the issues with your equipment. Open communication ensures that you understand the repair process and associated costs of maintaining your equipment. Allowing us to work with you to find repair solutions that fit your needs.

• The job isn’t complete until you are satisfied – we take pride in being thorough with our work, so that you have less service calls, and more uninterrupted, well deserved sleep.   Our attention to detail will save you time, energy and money in the long-run.

• Increased efficiency of your equipment – we understand there are budgets to manage, so at Element Refrigeration we seek to maximize the efficiency of your equipment, and reduce operating costs wherever possible. This includes recommending retrofits when possible, establishing preventative maintenance programs and commissioning for optimized efficiency.

 

My reputation for excellence was built on servicing clients such as Gordon Food Services, Sunterra, Co-op, Safeway, Sobeys and many property management groups throughout Calgary and Alberta.
